What Are Car Diagnostic Tests?
A car diagnostic test is an in-depth vehicle check that helps identify issues and faults with your vehicle.
These tests are essential for helping to identify the causes of these issues, and how to best fix them before they become a serious—and potentially expensive—problem.
As diagnostic checks are not always included in MOT's, its important to regularly test your vehicle to ensure it stays in the healthiest possible condition when on the road.

Modern vehicles have sensors that continually report to the ECU (Engine Control Unit) informing the vehicle of information about how components are performing.
When a problem occurs the fault is logged with a given fault code and this is stored in the ECU’s memory.
Our handy diagnostic code reader will read the fault or message and provide information to clear the fault codes from the memory. It is important to note that not all fault codes will always activate a warning light and we often find other components that are causing problems.
